Today’s thought

Most people start their day on defense.

Before they are out of bed they are bracing themselves.

They plug themselves into the news, their messages or the endless scroll

Scanning for something out there to set the tone for their day.

And without realising it, they handed their power over to things completely outside their control.

Today's practice is about building the opposite of that.

Starting the day by deliberately choosing that version that is is calm, powerful and internally validated.

The 5 minute practice

Do this before your day begins

Regulate - Take 3 deep breaths. Inhale fully for four seconds, exhale for six.

Stabilise - Bring something to mind that you genuinely feel grateful for. Let the emotion expand in your chest until it.

Occupy - Step fully into the version of you who you want to live from today. You are choosing not leaving it to chance.

Command - Speak it slowly. "This is who I AM today." Let each word land.

Embody - Imagine your day from beginning to end and see yourself living this way first person, normalising it to your mind.

Practice this for just a few days and watch how your life changes.

Remember you don't get what you want.

You get who you are being.

So go be it and stay Unshakeable
